Club Assistant Course
This qualification introduces the concepts involved in teaching jiu jitsu. It takes students through the initial thought processes involved in teaching and provides an awareness of the how they should conduct themselves. It is a prerequisite to the assistant instructor qualification.
This qualification is designed to introduce and develop the skills required to support the delivery of teaching jiu jitsu activities when training with less experienced students with in a class taught be a qualified instructor. This qualification, therefore, is also designed to provide suitable support and progression for you if you intend to develop within this area at higher levels.
Successful achievement of this qualification is part of the eligibility criteria to grade to 4th Kyu and also a prerequisite for the Jiu Jitsu Foundation Assistant Instructor and Club Instructor qualifications.
The online element of the qualification is be followed up by on the mat practice where the theory learnt here is put into effect. Sign off of the club assistant qualification is issued by your club instructor.
